Cooking With Chef Alfredo – My Dinner Party Plans!

These are the questions I was asked in my lesson…

  1. What would you like to make after Food Science is over?
  2. What ingredients are needed?
  3. Who would you like to share it with?
  4. How can you encourage someone else with this experience?

I would make a steak dinner with these side dishes:
  • Mashed potatoes and gravy
  • Steamed Artichokes
  • Fruit salad

INGREDIENTS:

• New York bone-in steaks

• Organic Golden potatoes

• Gravy – Roux: Equal parts butter and flour + Beef Stock – see video below

• Artichokes – Pick ones that are heavy for their size

• Apples, Bananas, Oranges, Strawberries, etc… with lemon juice/sugar

Marinade: Italian dressing, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, bay leaf.

Just FYI – How to make a Roux:

I will throw a dinner party at my house on the weekend and share my dinner with my friends! 🙂 I’m also going to invite their parents and my family!

I will clean up my house really well and set the table in a modern fashion. I will have a light blue table cloth, a white flower vase with roses, and a set of plates and silverware to go with my style! It might look something like this:

party whoop whoop

After dinner I will throw a small tea party outside in my backyard. I will lay down a nice cozy blanket in my grass and I will play some music more specifically Smooth Jazz. I have my own tea party set that I got for Christmas. I am very exited! 😀
As for the last question, I will encourage my friends and family by asking them to help me make dinner – basically I will make them my sous chef slaves!  >:D

Peace out!
