Woodpecker Fun!

Today I learned all about different types of woodpeckers. Now I will tell you all about them!

My favorite, out of all the types of woodpeckers, is the Acorn Woodpecker! The Acorn woodpecker is probably one of the busiest birds alive! What the woodpecker does is it makes thousands of holes in any type of tree and shoves acorns into the tree.  All the acorns they stick in the tree is their food for the winter. Every year they make more holes to stick even more acorns in!

The colors on the woodpecker are: Red, Black, White, Pale Yellow, and their eye color is like a tan yellow color. They’re very beautiful woodpeckers!
